The Sun's Still Shining!

Our newly painted front door standing out with the morning sun on it.
Another bright and sunny morning - although still a fresh wind, not as bitter as it has been recently. This blossom has come out in the last few days.
This sign has been put up again - let's see how long it survives!
Blue skies making our street look pretty.
Went into UWE to take back some marked exam papers for Kaplan College, to photocopy some stuff for next week and for a practice with Frank and Bob.  It looks as though we may actually perform in public again before Su and I head off to Greece! Su picked me up afterwards and we went for a walk down from Frenchay Common into Frenchay village, by the River Frome. You wouldn't think you were only a few miles from Bristol city centre!
The old bridge over the river bore this warning - we felt safe enough on foot:-)
On the side of the bridge was this sign showing its age - 225 years.
We walked through the very quiet village and along by the river until we climbed up onto Frenchay Moor.
At the back of Frenchay Common, we found this garage - with old-style petrol pumps I remember from my childhood.
Up on the common, these croci were happily taking in the sunshine, along with the daisies.
Frenchay Church standing proud in the middle of the Common
This day a year ago, I spotted these whitebells on a walk with Bella. Not a hint of any bluebells or whitebells so far this year - what a difference.
